Background and Experience ​
I am a Systemic Family and Couple Psychotherapist, and Systemic Supervisor and Trainer. I hold accreditation as an NVR Practitioner, Trainer, and am also an NVR Supervisor. I have training as a Nurse and Health Visitor. Additionally, I possess qualifications in Systemic Management and Consultation, and Teaching in Higher Education.
Teaching/Training experiences have included contributing to recognised systemic family therapy training courses ranging from Foundation Year to MSc. qualifying level. I have five years’ experience tutoring for the Open University Faculty of Health and Social Care as an Associate lecturer across three modules, Death and Dying, Communication in Health and Social Care, Youth Perspectives and Practice.
I have over thirty years of experience working as Principle Systemic Psychotherapist and Clinical Lead in Community NHS Child and Adolescent and Family Mental Health Services (CAMHS). I have worked with RELATE as a Family and Couple Therapist, and Counselling Supervisor. My expertise extends to Social Care, where I have served as Clinical Lead for Mental Health and Trauma Informed Practice within Fostering and Child in Care Teams. In this capacity, I contributed to the delivery of NVR Training for foster carers and provided NVR Supervision for Social Workers and Mental Health Practitioners.
My extensive experience in NHS and Social Care settings includes offering psychotherapy, consultation, supervision, and training across various professional disciplines.

Presently, I work independently as a Consultant in Systemic Psychotherapy and NVR Practice.
